    Hi,

My client has been using the RadEditor for Sharepoint 2010 for a number of years now and since they have updated their browsers to IE 11 there are a few issues with the editor. These are when highlighting text, it copies the text to left of the highlighted text and double clicking text to highlight it has the same issue.

Currently i have changed the X-UA-Compatible tag to IE=10 as a workaround at the moment but would like to know if there is another fix for this issue, i have attached a link to a video for you to see the problem.

I upgraded the RadEditorSharepoint.dll to version 6.12.1.0 but the problem still persists.

    Regards

    Darren

    Hello Darren,

The described issue is discussed in an support ticked, that is marked as resolved. If there are further complications on the mater, please, continue the conversation in the support thread opened via the ticketing system.

As for anyone interested in the problematic matter, the suggestion is the whole Telerik Web Parts for SharePoint to be updated along with the integrated Telerik.Web.UI assembly, instead only the RadEditorSharepoint.dll one.

Can we get specifics on that resolution?  We have also been using these web parts for many years and our editors are ready to start a riot because of the issues with IE11.  :)

     Please let me know.  Regards

    Hi Glenn,

The suggestion below should fix the issues with IE11. Did you try upgrading the Telerik Web Parts suite?

If not, you can see here details how to do that—http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/sharepoint/2010/radeditor-web-part/migration-and-upgrade/upgrading-radeditor-webpart-version
