Is this supported or planned?

Hello Keith,

Thanks for writing and for your question.

Yes, we have implemented this functionality and it will be officially released with Q2 2011 which is scheduled for July. We have also released a beta version of Q2 2011 which includes these new features and have described them in the following blog post:

http://blogs.telerik.com/blogs/posts/11-06-01/raddataboundlistbox-learns-new-data-virtualization-techniques.aspx

You can download the beta version from our website and take a look at our online help where you can find useful information on how to use them:

http://www.telerik.com/help/windows-phone/raddataboundlistbox-features-datavirtualization-overview.html

I hope this is helpful.

Do not hesitate to get back to us in case you have further questions or need assistance.

thanks, that's great.

How do I hide the 'Loading' template at the bottom, i'm already handling a progress bar and dont require this to be displayed in the control. I've tried setting BusyContent but this didn't seem to have any effect?

Also, I've downloaded the beta, but i'm getting a trial notice even though we purchased the Q1 windows phone controls is this normal?

Hello Keith,

Thanks for contacting us and for your questions.

You can remove the default loading template by setting the DataVirtualizationItemContent property to null.

If you have purchased our controls, you should be able to download the development version of RadControls for WindowsPhone 7 Q2 2011 Beta 1. You should also make sure that you uninstall a previous trial versions before installing the new one to avoid having the Trial Notificationi displayed in your apps.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,
