Hi
I downloaded the demo to check it out.

After i installed it and went into my Visual Studio.
Most of the controls when i drag onto my winform they give me an error.
When changing the theme i get erros aswell.

something like.

Failed to create component 'RadWaitingBar'.
The Error message as follows:

'Telerik.wincontrols.radPropertyNotFoundException: no such property registered: seperatorColor1

Is there something that i am missing.

I'm jst trying to test the controls out because i would like to purchase the winforms.

Kind Regards.

Hi Donovan,

Thanks for contacting us and for reporting this issue. Could you please give us more details on your setup e.g. whether you have other Telerik products (except RadControls for WinForms) installed since it is not normal to experience this issue after a fresh installation of our product. It is also important to know whether you had an older version of our product which you removed in order to install the newer one. Thanks for your time. I look forward to receiving the requested details.

Best wishes,
Deyan

Hi thanks for the reply.

I have installed it on my desktop which gave me no errors.
Seems when installing on my laptop that it gives me these issues, although I have a fresh installation of Windows 7 Ultimate which i loaded just the other day so there we would be no issues with old versions installed.

But not to worry. Its working perfectly on my desktop.

Thanks.

Hello Donovan Kruger,

The only reasonable explanation about this problem is that somehow versions of the dlls referenced in the project got somehow confused. You can try to reset VS toolbox, re-add the correct references in the project and rebuild the project. If after VS restart this problem persists, please let us know.

Sincerely yours,
Mike
