Hi,

I applaud your RAD Editor wrapper and installation; fantastic work!

I am now implementing other of your control and find the installation a bit more cumbersome and the documentation somewhat patchy.

1) For example, the deployment documentation specifies the minimum files to be deployed to the web front ends and modifications to web.config required to load the controls. All good. What I am missing though, for example, is the installation for the skin CSS files - where should these be copied?

2) The installation program requires an environment where VS and WSS are on the same machine. Whist in some environments this may be the case, our dev server is not on the same machine as VS. I would like to suggest your program ask for the location to the target MOSS server and support installation to an environment where Visual Studio is on the developer's PC and MOSS on a server located on the network somewhere.

3) I have not yet been able to work out how to add an icon to a panel item based on the current navigator provider content. It would be wonderful if you could suggest some MOSS code for icon management please.

If I am missing something on these issues please do let me know.

Thanks a lot

Regards

Tim

Hi Tim,

Thank you for the provided information.

I can see that you have managed to install RadEditor for MOSS, but could you please clarify which other Telerik controls are you trying to integrate with MOSS and what difficulties are you experiencing? Once we have a better understanding on you exact scenario, we will do our best to provide a solution.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Hi George,

RAD Panelbar is the particular control I was working with in this case - we have opened a separate support ticket for the specific issue 3) in my post. So that said the other comments are a bit more general and apply to all the Ajax controls in a SharePoint environment, with the exception of RAD Editor.

Cheers
