In the past, when I wanted to add AJAX capabilities to a grid that was inside a multipageview, I had to specify that the entire pageview be the updated control due to the structure of the controls. In trying this now, as soon as I specify the pageview control as an updated control I receive the error:

RadPageViewCollection must contain RadPageView objects


Can anyone suggest what I am supposed to do to enable this scenario now? I need to give a grid AJAX capabilities, but it needs to be part of a tabbed system (the AJAX trigger is fired from a modal that opens up from the grid's command item template).
