Hello Luca,

Telerik don't provide this tool, but if you are interested in easily creating your data layer then I would strongly advise looking at the Telerik Open Access ORM which is an enterprise level ORM with many excellent features.
Hope that helps

Hello,

No, as far as I know, there is no such tool in the Telerik suite of products.

Hello Andy,

You can use Telerik OpenAccess ORM for your data access layer together with Dynamic LINQ to construct your queries at runtime.

Hello Nirosha,

Thank you for writing.

I am not sure that I understand correctly your complete requirement. Telerik UI for WinForms suite doesn't offer a query builder control.

However, I suppose that the RadExpressionEditor might be suitable for your case. The following Knowledge Base article is quite useful for creating a standalone expression editor which allows you to build complex expressions: http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/winforms/forms-and-dialogs/details/create-standalone-radexpressioneditor-form

If it is not applicable, it would be greatly appreciated if you can provide more details about the exact goal that you are trying to achieve. Thus, we would be able to assist you further. Thank you in advance.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Hi,

Greetings.

We are having similar requirement to have a query builder control which can be used by our WPF application.

Does Telerik provide now any such Query Builder control to be use by winform & WPF application ?

We want a query builder who can connect to any type of connection type database like (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle etc) & create a query from end user which can be used by our application.

The control should be user friendly enough that a non SQL person can create query.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, Bhavik,

Telerik UI for WinForms suite still doesn't support a query builder.

I have logged it in our feedback portal by creating a public thread on your behalf. You can track its progress, subscribe for status changes and add your comments on the following link - feedback item.

I have also updated your Telerik points.

Meanwhile, you can have a look at the previously discussed RadExpressionEditor.
