I'm testing the new Q3 CF and I see the following settings has no effects:
a) Setting ReflectionStartAlpha and ReflectionRelativeHeight to any settings, do not affect the CF.
b) Same issue with CameraY setting.

Thanks!
..Ben

Hello Ben,

Those properties are obsolete and do not have effect anymore. Instead of CameraY you could use CameraRotation, since it has a similar effect. Reimplementing the reflection related properties will take some time, most probably we will reintroduce them with Q1 2009.

Kind regards,

Thanks Valeri; I'm sorry I missed your notes that those properties had been dropped.
I'll play with CameraRotation and let you know.

Question/Suggestion: Is it possible to remove obsolete properties from Blend? It's natural to use them when you see them. Especially when the names relate so directly to the functionality. I'm sure others with run into the same issue. Just a thought!

Hi Ben,

We will remove the properties with our next release, however it's is essential to keep them obsolete in order to prevent any breaking changes by adopting our new version. I am sorry to hear that Blends reflection of our properties disregards the obsolete attribute. We will remove them in our next Q release just to make sure everybody has adopted the new ones.

Concerning the documentation, we are aware of this problem and we are currently working on uploading a newer version as soon as possible. Thank you for contacting us, and we look forward to receiving more valuable feedback from you.

Greetings,

Hristo, I agree with your decision of keeping them for a while. Hopefully the online docs get updated soon.
