Hello Team;

I've read on both controls and I still don't know which is the best for a NEW project that requires:
a) Multiple files to be uploaded.
b) Once files are uploaded I need to give them proper name and store them in a proper folder on server.

I see both being upgraded and still can't decide which one to use. Could you please tell me the major difference and which one is the best and latest to use and go forward?

Thank you in advance!

Hello Ben Hayat,

Both controls have the features that you are looking for. So you can choose any one of the two.
However, I's suggest that you use the AsyncUpload, because it has more functionality, and it doesn't cause postbacks on the page, improving performance.

If you want to see the full comparison between the controls, check out this help article.

Hi Bozhidar;

Thank you for the reply. Reading your link more carefully and your suggestion, you're right, the async is more suited for my need.
Thanks again!
