Hi,

* Is it possible to build server for sending push notifications using ASP.net c# .
            and i want to send the push notification to a particular device, can i make use of device uuid for this.

*Is it possible to send notifications to android devices without using 'gcm', if so how?

Hello Anup,

Yes, it is possible, you can handle the server and client (device) part yourself or use another 3rd party BaaS provider (most use GCM in their backend). See the posts on SOF:
