Hi !

I've tried lite and full version of radeditor.
I get the same conclusion for both. It does not work for HTML content.

If I create a new item in a SharePoint list, the built-in default editor comes for HTML content. The RadEditor comes only for 'Multiple lines of text, RTE' columns.

In a browser non-IE like Firefox, the RadEditor comes for 'Multiple lines of text, RTE' but for columns 'Publishing HTML', it does not work. I get only the usual window of Firefox and it just does not work at all.

Is it possible to force SharePoint to use RadEditor in custom 'Publishing HTML' columns or not ?

If yes, can you explain how to handle this.

Thanks.

Hi,

Our editor will replace only the "Multiple lines of text" (RichTextField) column type for editing HTML. The "Publishing HTML" site column type (RichHtmlField) is not supported in lists. I think the problem is that SharePoint does not allow us to override the RichHtmlField rendering template, which is why we only override the RichTextField template. We are currently working on a workaround for this problem and support for the RichHtmlField will be added in a future RadEditor for MOSS release. I apologize for the inconvenience.
