Is there any way to know if a session was logged as public or private if you don't catch that session in the short time it appears on the Live view?
I'm working through my logged exceptions and from the exception screen and the linked session screens, I haven't found a way to know if the exception occurred in public or private mode.

I find this piece of information important because I would like to focus on exceptions received from public sessions first.

Thank you

Hi Kevin

At the moment you can't see on the session itself if it's public or internal. I have logged this as a feature request because it would indeed be useful.

When you are working with exceptions you can set origin the filter to only show public or internal exceptions. The sessions linked to when filtered will be of the same category as the filter (public or internal). See attached image. In trying this out i actually discovered a bug that caused the filter not to work on the exception view. This has been fixed now and will be pushed end week or start next week. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Yeah, I noticed that bug too.  Thanks for mentioning it so I didn't have to log it.
As far as some ammunition for exposing public vs. private in more places...I have some complex logic to determine whether to mark a a session as public or private.  For example, my personal account will never be public, even if I run in production.  It would be helpful to look at all my sessions and see that my logic is working correctly and that my activity is not skewing the data.

Thank you

Hi

Public/internal is now shown in the session details and will be available in the next update. Will that help you out? You can also filter on your own cookie id in advanced query to see other data sets from only your usages.

Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming
