Hi Janko,

Yes, you can profile custom ms office add-ins by attaching to the process. JustTrace standalone provides two ways to attach to a process. The first one is to attach to a currently running process (Attach to .NET Process), the other way is to wait for process to start (Next Application). I suggest to you to use the second approach because you can use more in-depth features.

You have to choose Next Application from the list of available profilee types and type the name of the application in the "Executable Filename substring" textbox. Then you can start your project form Visual Studio. I've create a sample video with Outlook add-in that you can watch:  http://screencast.com/t/2nDH83EA6bOp

If you have any questions or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Happy Profiling!

Kind Regards,
