Hi there,

Another developer created a project and added it to one of the solutions i was working in.  I downloaded the silverlight tools and added the references to the project.  We have verified that we are using the same version of the silverlight tools.  we cannot figure out how to resolve the following error:

Error 7 The type or namespace name 'RadPanelBar' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) C:\Projects\TransApps_main\SupplyChain\Order Management System\WSOEManagement\obj\Debug\Preferences.g.i.cs 40 18 WSOEManagement

Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan McAlister,

Could you please verify that both of you are using the same assembly versions?

Hi Dan,

The causes for this issue can be numerous. This might be shooting in the dark, but try removing the bin and Debug folders from the project that is causing the issue and then try and rebuild. If the problem persists, could you please try and isolate the issue in a separate project and send us the project so we can debug it locally. If that is not an option you can record a video and share it with us. This way we will be better able to assist you.

Greetings,
