Hi Vuyiswa,
Sure, you can bind it to any database server as long as you have the corresponding driver. There seems to be one for PostgreSQL. This looks like a nice guide on how to use it: http://www.programmingado.net/c-32/a-394/First-ASPNET-application-against-Postgresql.aspx
