When will the beta be out for Xamarin Android? It is out already for UI for Android but not for Xamarin.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. Your post was not deleted but instead converted to a Support Ticket. Support tickets are not publically visible in the forums. The purpose of the conversation was to supply you with the bits of UI for Xamarin.Android we're about to ship for you to test. If you are not able to see your ticket, I would like to inform you that the UI for Xamarin.Android containing the new AutoCompleteTextView and Gauges for Android will be shortly available.

Any idea when the public beta will go live for Xamarin?

I replied to a support ticket that the internal build doesn't compile. At this point I would have thought the public beta would have gone live as it's been a few weeks since we were told the beta would be out.

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for writing back.

The Xamarin Cross-Platform bits are yet to be developed. There is a considerable effort there as it requires developing a wrapper over the iOS and Android wrappers that abstracts the API. This is planned for the R1 2017 version of UI for Xamarin (beginning of next year).

As for the issue with the Xamarin.Android wrappers - we're working on it and will release an updated version soon.
