Hi Telerik,

I have recently seen my application crash a couple of times. Thought it was due to my code but i am not sure it is.

The application logs exceptions and in my log i found what you see on the attached image.

I have only seen this error on 1 machine and i think it happens when i am adding lineseries data to a graph.

This machine has the following specs: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, 4 GBRAM and Intel Core 2 Duo U9600 1.6GHz.

Please tell me if there is more you need to know :)

Best regards,
Jeppe

Hello Casper,

Internally the chart uses decimal for a bigger precision. It is possible that the data you are plotting requires a number that does not fit in a double and the cast fails. However, we cannot confirm that based on the stack trace. Perhaps if you can isolate the problem in a small project and send it to us for investigation, we can look for a way to work this out.

Hi Petar,

As this problem occurs very rarely and is only seen on one machine i will wait a bit by creating a test project. If i can find a way to reproduce the problem or if it starts occurring more frequently then i will start further investigation by creating a small project for you to investigate.

Thanks for the explanation and help! :)
