Hi,
I created app Windows Phone 7.5 and used Telerik controls. Everything works perfect for Windows Phone 8 as well. But I'm going to convert project in Visual Studio to Windows Phone 8 project. Here is my question: If I will remove all Telerik control references (7.5) and then will add libraries for Windows Phone 8, what this will give me? Maybe there some performance increase or better compatibility ?
Can you please give me a short info about all advantages I will get after switching libraries. I need to understand this for just decide use new libraries for old project or leave everything as was before.

Regards,
David.

Hi David,

RadControls for Windows Phone 7.x have been upgraded to use all the benefits that come with the Windows Phone 8 operating system. You can upgrade your project and swap the Telerik libraries with the ones that target the Windows Phone 8 OS and you can be sure that you will get the expected performance.

If you experience any issues while transitioning, do not hesitate to get back to me so that I can help.

Kind regards,
