    Hi,

I have 2 questions about the Plugin API.
If I check the EntryPoint-Property of IAssemblyDefinition I always get a value. But in my opinion, for assemblies without an EntryPoint, it should return null. Currently all properties of the returned IMethodDefinition result in a NullPointerException. Is this a bug or an feature?

The second questions is about the TreeView. Is there any way to navigate to a special item ex. a MethodDefinition.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us on these issues. We don't get that much feedback on the plugin API so the info you provided is really valuable to us.

The EntryPoint thing is a bug and it will be fixed in the next official release. There is currently no way to change the selected item in the treeview. We'll add one in the next official release, too. Would you like to get a pre-release version with these changes? If so, please let me know what would be a convenient way to send you one.

    Thanks
    I'm interested in that version.
If it's also ok for you, please send me that version by mail.
You already got my address. I sent you a mail regarding the documentation.

Other question. Are there any rules for plugins? Keyword reflections.

    Hello,

     Alright we'll send you a pre-release version.

I am not quite sure I completely understand what you mean by rules for plugins. Could you elaborate some more on that?

    Kind regards,

I meant rules so that you add the plugins to your list.
For example are we allowed to access your assemblyTree directly and navigate in it.

    Hello,

In general we consider the API documentation to be our contract with the plugin developers. As long as you stick to what is there we will consider the plugin to be well formed. Using stuff that is not part of teh API documentation puts the plugin at risk of crashes in future versions of JustDecompile.
