I have completed the tutorial album app and I believe it works - in the simulator when I click the 'add' button it launches a dialogue to select a file -it also stores any picture file i do select to the cloud. In the AppBuilder app on my Nokia 920 phone, however, it's not fully working. It did work through the hard-coded addition of image #8, but when I went to the next step of adding the navigator.camera.GetPicture(), it choked. From there on through the end of the tutorial, when I click the 'Add' button on the phone in AppBuilder, the button turns green and nothing happens. If i manually launch the camera app and take a picture and return to the AppBuilder, nothing has happened, and the Add button is still green.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hello Sid,

I was able to test your app code on my side using Companion app deployment on my Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8.1 device. I changed the API key to my own Backend project and the output was well functioning app. I was able to add new pictures.

Would you please verify that you have synced all previously made changes to your device and try again?

The camera has to be launched through the Add button inside the app otherwise you won't be able to add a new picture.

An option you can try is to deploy your app on device by building it for App Package. Notice that before deploying it on WP8 device you will have to install Telerik Application Enrollment Token (Telerik AET) via the QR code provided in the latest build wizard part.

If you still experience any difficulties please let us know.
