Hello World,

I'm just started to use the Telerik Plataform and I developed and deployed the Photo Album example,

the 1st example of the HYBRID serie of 4 tutorial.

I successfully installed the Photo Album in my Samsung Galaxy S5 and works fine, I have only one issue

Every time that I take a photo by the Photo Album app with my Samsung Galaxy S5 the photo is visualized

by the app rotated by 180 degrees clockwise. This issue happens only in my Samsung Galaxy S5 my

collegues have ZTE device and the Photo Album app works fine. Why?

 Thanks

Hello Diego,

Thank you for your interest in Telerik Platform.

The problem you are experiencing is a common problem that is reported around the web for Samsung devices sometimes returning pictures sideways. Most probably it's caused by the Samsung camera app. Take a look at this report. There are a number of suggestions there that might help you figure this out. Otherwise, I'm not aware of a reliable way to detect if the image that is returned in the mobile app is rotated correctly. Perhaps in a real scenario, it would be best to let the user edit the picture with a third party library before saving it.

Let me know if you have questions.
