PhoneGap Android Speech Recognition

I'm trying to translate this script https://github.com/GoogleChrome/webplatform-samples/tree/master/webspeechdemo into a android app based on Apache Cordova.

The problem is the script works only on Google Chrome browser and when I test it on my Android Phone it doesnt do much.

Is there a way to emulate Google Chrome when my app starts ?

Or is there any answer to my problem ?

I tried the above link of icenium but its not working in currently. Can you please update with a working link or some other possible solution for this.

I tried to use https://github.com/macdonst/TTS but no luck. Actually I want to do text to speech in appbuilder with VS extension. I have already created a project with telerik using kendo ui.

Hi Raghavendra,

Here is the updated link of the above mentioned forum thread.

Further, the macdonst TTS plugin is not Plugman compatible and thus, you cannot use it in AppBuilder projects. I would suggest you to try this plugin instead as it is Plugman compatible and it seems to be the most recently updated TTS Cordova plugin. I hope it helps.
