Hello,

I have a RadGrid that also has a Detail Table. The RadGrid properly serializes the settings to persist, however, the Detail Table's column settings do not persist.  What are the requirements to allow the GridTableView column settings inside of the Detail Table to persist?

 Thank you for your help

Hello Alex,

Thank you for contacting us.

I am afraid that RadPersistenceManager does not support persisting of the column settings for the detail table views.

Please excuse us for any inconvenience this might have caused you.

According to http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/persistence-framework-supported-controls.html, GridTableView column settings are supported. Am I misunderstanding what is meant on this page? Or possibly misunderstanding the GridTableView completely? According to my mark up, my columns are nested inside of a GridTableView which made me believe the settings should be able to be stored.

Thank you for your help,

Alex

Hi Alex,

Note that only MasterTableView setting could be persisted which inherits GridTableView object . I will make sure to update the documentation with this information in order to avoid further confusions.
