What does the error "Panic - Tree has lost its integrity" mean?  We are using version 2012.1.411.40 and loading tree view data on demand but we get this crash:

Panic - tree has lost its integrity at tc4

Hi Bill,

The issue that you get is indeed very strange one. Can you please provide some code and the steps needed for replicating it so we can reproduce the issue from our side and determine what is causing it?

Kind regards,
Kate

Unfortunately this is very intermitent (happens once every other day) only in our QA environment.  I'm unable to reproduce it myself. I'm not sure why the stack trace is in another language either but we are upgrading our error handling in case we can get more/better info.

Hello Bill,

Unfortunately I am not quite sure how I can assist you further if I am not able to replicate the issue on the first place. Let me know if you have any further finding and if you can isolate the steps needed for reproducing the exception so I can assist you further.

All the best,
Kate

If I had put the word "Panic" in any error message in any program I've written, I'd certainly be able to find it in my code and understand the general condition under which it might happen - corrupt viewstate or...?  Strange to me that you cannot...

Hi Bill,

Indeed, the exception that you get is very strange. I have already checked the code of the RadTreeView control and it seems that the error message is not being invoked by the RadTreeView control. However, I am not sure that I could determine the actual cause without testing the actual code locally. Let me know if you get any other hints that might help me replicate the exception so I can proceed in investigating it.

Kind regards,
Kate
