We do not have an N-tier example based on Windows Forms, but we do have N-tier examples which can give you an idea on how to develop the WCF service and DAL so that they can easily be consumed by a Windows Forms application. The most important things to follow when building your application are:
WCF - Provide data transport objects which correspond to the persistent objects generated by OpenAccess. Use the assembler pattern to efficiently handle the transformation between the two types of objects. You can benefit from using our DTO code generation template to speed this process.

I'm glad to know you may release N-Tier WinForm + OpenAccess example / demo in OpenAccess ORM Q3, 2010 version. That will help many people, like me, who are developing classic apps for Windows desktop.

James
The first examples will be ready for Q3 and we will continue working on them afterwards. I will notify you when the examples are available.

Thank you very much!
There is a Windows Forms N-Tier integration example that we are currently developing. Bear in mind that the example will become accessible through the OpenAccess SDK Browser. We will try to include it in the samples suite as soon as we finalize the design. You should note that we can add samples to the SDK browser quicker than we distribute new versions of OpenAccess. We will notify you when the example is live.
