Should be Zoom-in/out slot's height,not width.

Hi Wenjie,
This is expected behavior, because the slider is bound to the MinTimeRulerExtent property of the TimeRuler and it causing the TimeRuler to extend horizontally when zooming in. This is because the MonthViewDefinition has more specific style and the TimeRuler is always placed horizontally rather than the other ViewDefinitions which can also have vertical TimeRuler.
