I've been trying to figure this out, but haven't had any success.
I have a vertical inheritance set up correctly between Folders (parent) and Indices (child). The issue I'm running into is when I have a Folder object that exists in the Folders table, but there is no linked record in the Indices table. If I try to simply add a new Index (child) record, OA tries to insert a new record in the Indices table and the Folders table. Instead, I need to simply insert an associated record in the Indices table that is a child of the Folder that I already know exists.
How can I accomplish this? I haven't figured out any way to create a new child item from the parent object at this point.
Thanks,
Drew
