I have an old website that is using the control RadRibbonBar (ver 2011/712 ).

When a button of the toolbar is clicked the browser freezes. This problem happens only on windows 10 and not on every machines.

It seems related to the Intel HD video card ( the GPU integrated with the CPU ). Systems with other video cards do not seem to show the problem.

Do you have any suggestion on how to solve the problem without rewriting the old web app?

Thanks

Hello Luigi,

Note that RadRibbonBar was deleted back in 2012 and it was replaced by RadRibbonView. I would strongly recommend you to use it instead of the old ribbon bar. The migration between the control is quite straight forward, because their API is almost identical.

About the issue, there was a similar behavior that we encountered some time ago. It was related to a touch service of the Windows OS and the automation peers of one of the ribbonbar elements. You can find more about this case and a workaround in the following forum.
