I have looked around, but since I have a problem conveying what I am looking for, I haven't been able to find any examples.  Just like the Mail app in iOS, when you receive a new email, the count increases on the home screen icon (the little number in a red circle on the top left of your app icon).  Are we able to do this in AppBuilder?

Again, I apologise in advance if this is documented some where.  I call it a notification count, but I am not sure what it is called.

Thanks.

Hello Sean,

I believe what you're looking for is an application badge. If this is indeed the case, then you can  examine the PushPlugin which supports badges. It also provides a method to set the badge count visible when the app is not running.

Please note that the PushPlugin is one of the AppBuilder integrated plugins and you can follow the instructions outlined in the Enable and Disable the Integrated Plugins to enable the plugin in your AppBuilder app.

Please give the plugin a try and let us know if we can further assist you.
