First, I don't know why I cannot put a screenshot here to illustrate the error,
after installation, I can run the reports successfully for both web and win forms,
but when I try to open the code using vs2005, the following error messages pop up in vs2005
Package Load Failure
Package.Telerik.Reporting.Vspackage.VsPackage, Telerik.reporting.vspackage.vspackage, version=1.0.0.0, culture=netutral,publickeytoken=a9d7983?????' has failed to load properly (GUID = {50E2dd37xxxxxxxxx}}. Please contact package vendor for assistance. Application restart is recommended, due to possible environment corruption. Would you like to load this package in the future
I am using win2k sp4, please also refer to the support ticket I submitted on the same day regarding windows form, I think they are related as well..
I have also some feedback to your product, I will put it in another thread in the forum

Hi,
I have the exact same problem, but with Reporting V1.0 (the release version).
I'm using Win XP 64.
Any idea ?
Thanks
Francois

Hi Francois,
We discovered an issue in the installer which did not correctly find VS2005 location in the registry on 64-bit machines. We fixed that issue and now you will be able to correctly install the product when we release the service pack in a couple of weeks. Just make sure to uninstall the version you have now, before installing the new one.
Best wishes,
Rossen

I see this is an old post, but I stil get the same error message as others, (in your previous posts you said this will be fixed).
I'm using Telerink Reporting 2007 Q2 SP1 with VS2005 on winXP (32bit, if it metters)
Thanks in advance.

Hello Veljko Janjic,
In order to assist you better, could you please check the registry settings which are responsible for the proper functioning of the Reporting.
Please, see the attached file for the exact description of the registry keys (this file is for Reporting 1.1). You should replace [SystemFolder] with the path (in a common widows installation) C:\WINDOWS\system32. Another path that depends from your installation of the Reporting is [INSTALLDIR]. By default this path is C:\Program Files\Telerik\Reporting 1.1.
If this does not help, please not hesitate to contact us. Thank you in advance.
