Hello,

I really like the new Telerik web site. I especially like the dropdown menu that's at the top!

Are any of the methods / controls you're using to produce the new site available in the new Kendo tools? Perhaps some demos?

Please let us know!

Nice work!

~ Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the feedback!
We're very happy that you like the new dropdown menu. We haven't used any of our components in it, because the menu is very specific and that's why we needed to write a custom script for it. We've set up a very simple demo of the script here - http://jsfiddle.net/pivanov/LVqPJ/

If you need any further info we'll be glad to help you.

All the best,

Hello again,

That's great! I look forward to using all of the new tools and techniques in the next phase of my current project.

Thanks for the demo!

Hello,

I have a quick question about the jQuery link / reference in your sample project; I started a project and used a template from VS 2010 that included jQuery 1.4.1... in the template.

Your example uses a newer link src='http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.7.1.js'. I've uploaded a screen shot showing an example of my situation. One new referenced link... and several older files in a folder named Scripts.

So my question is this; should I just delete the older files in my project since I'm now referencing a newer file via an external link?

Please let me know and thanks!

~ Dave

Hi,

The sample script we gave you, works with jQuery 1.4.1 as well.
However, we recommend using the latest jQuery version, as long as there are no conflicts with other plugins/scripts you are using.

Kind regards,
