This might be a dumb question, but I thought that when I went into VS2013 and did New, Project, that there would be 4 templates for Telerik Responsive sites?

I could have sworn I read that somewhere but I don't see them.

Hello Alan,

Thank you for contacting us.

Based on the provided information, I suppose that our Visual Studio extensions failed to be installed in your Visual Studio. Could you please confirm if the Telerik menu exists in Visual Studio?

In case, it is missing I would recommend you download our extensions directly from the Visual Studio Online Gallery. The steps below will help you to achieve this:

1. Launch your Visual Studio;
2. Select Extensions and Updates... item under the Tools menu;
3. Expand the Online tab and select Visual Studio Gallery;
4. Type "Telerik ASP.NET AJAX" in the search box, located in the top-right side of the pane;
5. Select the Telerik ASP.NET AJAX extensions and press Download button;
6. Proceed with the installation and restart the Visual Studio when it prompted;

Could you please perform the steps above and let us know in case the issue still persists?

Please note that if your Visual Studio is Express edition, our extensions will not be available due to the fact that its license agreement forbids the third party extensibility of VS extensions.

If this is the case, you could still take full advantage of the Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX controls and also use them in the Visual Studio Toolbox by adding them manually as it is shown in the following article.

I am looking forward to your feedback.

Regards,
Yana

Yes, I do that the Telerik menu in VS2013.

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. Can you tell me the exact steps to do to see if they are there?

Right now I do File, New, Project but can't see anything anywhere that mentions Responsive.
I have also tried File, New, Web with the same results.
I have also tried Telerik, UI for ASP.NET AJAX, Create new Telerik Project, but nothing there either.

I will try the other install options you suggested.

The VSExtensions are showing with a green checkmark, so if you mean those, they must already be installed.

Hello Alan,

Please accept my apologies for not understanding your question correctly.

The steps below will help you to create a Telerik ASP.NET AJAX responsive web site/application:

1. Launch your Visual Studio.
2. Select a Telerik project template,depending on your needs from the basic project templates in Visual Studio's New Project wizard (please check the attached new-project-dialog.png image)
3. After pressing the OK button, our Project Configuration Wizard will be opened.
4. In the "Choose project type" dropdown select Responsive Web Site/Application, as it is shown in the attached project-type-dropdown.png image.
5. Finish the creation of the project.

Please let me know in case I may be of further help.

Regards,
Yana

I probably didn't explain myself very well since I'm new to this.
Thanks for the information, I will try it tonight when I get home.
