I am a Telerik evangelist so hopefully these wants become part of TeamPulse ;)

1. Ability to view across projects in the Dashboard, StoryBoard and Progress Grid.  It is a pain to try to manage a team when they are working across projects.  This is the exact reason why I do not like using Sharepoint -- the lack or limited ability of accessing cross site data.

2. Ability to edit a Task in a new window with scroll bars and WYSIWYG editor.  Tasks can get pretty detailed so it would be nice to be able to have more space.

Crossing my fingers.  This would be a win win for your customers.

Hi Brian,

1. Cross project views are something we are in need of internally as well, and we have given some thought to various implementations. There is an amount of complexity in this, however, if you consider that different projects may have different iteration cycles and templates, the security implications, etc. Rest assured that we do not intend to ignore this challenge, however, and that we continue to make progress in this regard.

2. This is a good suggestion, something we will take into consideration as we make enhancements going forward. Acceptance Criteria could likely benefit from a similar view.

I have awarded you some Telerik points for your feedback!

Thanks for the points!   To bootstrap it you could just give us the ability to view cross projects on the dashboard or create a higer level dashboard with stories and tasks with the ability to filter the tasks based on the context of the logged in user.  I would actually develop that myself using oData if your system had a way to add features like this.

Keep up the good work!

Hello Brian,

Our recently released 2011 Q1 roadmap (http://www.telerik.com/team-productivity-tools/roadmap.aspx) shows that we will be partially addressing your concerns for sure with the My Perspective. As you can see there are no commitments to cross-project functionality within this perspective for the upcoming release, but we will certainly take your comments into consideration as we build out the feature in this release and beyond.

All the best,
