Was hoping the forum users could put a few different needle styles out here.

Hi Marc,

Can you supply some additional details on the issue which you are facing with the control, or the functionality which you are trying to achieve?

Sorry I should have been more specific. I have no functionality problems. We are building an application with a screen full of radial gauges. The out of the box needle is just a little plain. I have seen several different needle styles in some of the silverlight and wpf demos. Some are available in code, others are not. I was hoping to get some examples styles for existing Telerik radial needles and possible some from other users of your products.

Hi Marc,

Actually all styles used in our demos and examples are available in the sources of the demo application. Could you, please, give a reference to the samples which don't have styles you'd like to use?

Your right. When I dug a little deeper I found the needle style.

If possible, can a Knowledge Base article be created to explain how to customize needles for the radial gauges? There is no documentation about changing needles on your site. Only the demos to refer to. I think it would be nice to have 2-3 pre-made needles out of the box as options on the controls for future releases? Can you throw that into the suggestion box for me?

Hello Marc,

 Thanks for contacting us.
We are glad you found the needle styles on your own. As for your last post, we'll create a help topic that will describe how you may customize the default needle style of a radial gauge, accompanied by code samples. So stay tuned.

I know I must have missed the obvious.
Can you please post the link to the source of the demos.
I was trying out some gauge examples and am missing some of the resources.

Hi Mark,

I believe that you should better install our bundle (using the installation file under your account's Downloads section), thus installing the demo itself on your machine, too. Will this work for you?

Andrey,

Thanks I did go ahead and do that.

I wanted to create a project based on one of the gauge examples so I copied the source from the example but then there are some missing resources. What is the process to move those resources from the demo to my newly created project.

Thanks for the help.

Mark.

Ok I got it figured out - thanks

For others,

Install Demos via Telerik Control Panel locally
Then naviate to Start->Program Files->Telerik-><Version Name>->Open C#  Demos In Visual Studio
* This was the key part I was missing : Did not realize Demo source and project files were also installed.
