My institute has a Telerik subscription. I am new to Kendo UI and learning. Consequently, I am inquiring to seek help where I should look in Telerik's resources to accomplish the following:

Build a ASP.NET MVC application. It will serve as a web UI to a database. From the database, I wish to draw a 2D grid. Something like this: http://www.brightcloudprintedresources.com/wp-content/uploads/Number-Grid-1-Preview.jpg

Basically, the grid represents a box with bins. Basically, the bins are going to be labeled with what is in it. If you saw the picture I shared, that would be a number. Some of the bins are occupied, and some are not. I would like to color the bins that are occupied and leave the ones empty blank (white). I would then like to allow the user to select multiple bins and then to check them out, like a rental service so to speak.

Is there anything that Telerik offers or has that could help me do this? If not, could you point me to some resources that could accomplish this please?

Thanks,
hlyates
