Multiple Tooltips Required

Hi,

We have used Rad Charts in our WPF application which shows crosshair on the chart and showing a tooltip on line where mouse is placed and it is working fine you can view it in attached image Working.jpg.

Now, we are in need to show two tooltips on mouse hover on data point. at the moment in the way that Y-axis value should be shown in main tooltip near the data point, while second tooltip should be shown in x-axis as per attache image Required.jpg.

Can you help us to achive this required functionality?

Hi Imran Javed Zia,

RadChart does not support multiple tooltips and it would not be possible to achieve the desired effect.

If this is a requirement for your project you can check the built-in TrackBallBehavior in our new RadChartView component (hover the chart in the lower left corner to see the trackball tooltip here -- the same is applicable for the WPF version). Note, however, that RadChartView is still a BETA version and while it has go-live license,it will be officially released with Q1 2012.

Thanks for the reply, although it does not fullfill 100% requirements yet it seems very close to our requirements, you have provided us following Silverlight example: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#ChartView/FirstLook,

but can you verify me that if it is also available in 2011 Q2 or we have to use 2011 Q3. Due to some tied sechedule, we are not able to shift to 2011 Q3 yet. So is there any work around to use this feature in 2011 Q2?

Hi Imran Javed Zia,

RadChartView was released as a public BETA version with the Q3 2011 release and is not available in Q2 2011 so if you would like to include it in your project, you need to upgrade to the latest version of the RadControls suite.
