Multiple selection with arbitrary input

Is it possible to support arbitrary input, separated by semicolon (like the email entry field in gmail)?

Hi Wenrong,

We considered such SelectionMode, but found that mapping multiple items with strings is really hard. We want every selection mode to provide sensible values for the SelectedItems property and that's why we chose the current behavior to be used with multiple selection.

I created a feature request into ours PITS. You can track its status here. If it gets enough votes we will consider it again.
