Hello Iftikhar,

Currently the Kendo Gantt chart displays only continuous tasks (tasks that have no interruption in their duration). If you believe, that the suggested feature would add considerable value to the widget functionality, I would suggest you to log this idea as a feature request in of Feedback portal.

Hi Veselin,

We also have a similar requirement to show multiple tasks in single row using kendo ui gantt chart(jQuery).Has this been implemented in the gantt widget ? If not is there any alternate way to do show the same ?

FYI, we have tried splitting a single task to multiple by using taskTemplates but this way the individual tasks are not dragable separately.

Hello Bhabani,

Support of multiple tasks on a single line is yet not available for the Gantt widget. That is why, I would recommend you to log that idea as a Feature request on our Feedback portal. Based on the support it receives, we will decide on whether to proceed with its implementation or not.

As per customizing the Task template to fit into your needs, that could be a viable approach, unless you have to move and resize the inner parts of the task. Therefore, I could suggest you to disable those two editing modes for the Gantt.
