Is it possible to have multiple kinds of connections in one RadDiagram, each with their own "ConnectionDataSourceId" and "<ConnectionSettings .../> under "<BindingSettings>"?

This capability is critical to any application where the semantics of the connections needs to be distinguished visually to indicate the nature of the relationship.  Any but the simplest diagrams need this kind of semantic distinction.

Thanks,

Donald

Hi Donald,

The ConnectionSettings type includes properties that allow you to define different settings of the diagram connections from columns of the data source, to which the diagram is data bound: http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/allmembers_t_telerik_web_ui_diagram_databinding_connectionsettings.html

Please clarify whether you need additional properties for configuring the connections when data binding the diagram or you want to define several groups of connections with similar setup, because I am not quite sure what your scenario is and what is the desired result.

If possible, please describe in detail your use case, the difference between the connections in the diagram you want to setup and the way these connections should be configured. Is the connections information in separate data sources and if it is, is it an option to combine these data sources when data binding the diagram?
