The treeview has drag and drop functionality and works if there are a few drags and drops. If I keep on drag and drops (approx 10+) then the nodes do not expand. I have tried with multiselect = false (design time), EnableDragAndDrop = false and enabled = false in the nodedrop event while I am reordering items in the tree.

The telerik.web.ui version I am using is 2013.1.417.35 with Sharepoint site.

Has anybody else experienced this behavior? Is there any fix for it?

Hello,

It looks like there are some javascript errors on the page. Please refer to this on-line demo where is explained how to implement similar functionality.

I can have same behavior on the demo site. Try moving items quickly and you can see it yourself. I think it is not practical but it came up during QA. The moves go in opposite directions and after few moves (10+) the control shows hanging items.

Hi,

It looks quite unusual indeed. I have tried to drag nodes really fast but could not observe it locally. Would you please share in which browser do you reproduce the issue and send a video how to achieve it so we could inspect it and be more helpful.

Thanks for your help and interest to fix the issue.

I am using chrome and IE also has same problem. The video can't be attached to the ticket. I have the video which shows the weird behavior and I know this is not real scenario but looks bad. I am not sure what is the trigger for this behavior and understand that it is very difficult to debug on your side. If you can provide an email then I'll email the video.

Let me know if you need any other information.
