Hi,

I have 2 questions.
1. I am not able to put 2 crosstabs (using same Cube DS) on a single page. If I am creating 2 reports for each, it works fine. When on single page it is throwing Access Denied error. Also, there are many instances where this Access Denied error I was getting. But I work around those. Now, I want to know if it is not possible to keep 2 ( i want many) crosstabs on single page? Note: 2 crosstabs on Review is working fine. The error is only when trying run the application.

2. What is the best possible way to get a tooltip when keeping the cursor on a bar graph or a pie graph in runtime?

Regards,
Amit

Hello Amit,

  1. We have tested the described scenario with two crosstabs on a single page with the same CubeDataSource. Although we ran the report in preview and in an application, we weren't able to reproduce the described behavior. Also the fact that the report works properly in Preview on your end means that something is off with the configuration of your application.
Please check the application configuration file and make sure that the correct connection strings for the Cube DS are present there.
In case you need further help, please send us a runnable sample project exhibiting the issue, so we can review it locally and advise accordingly.
  2. Tooltips are not supported in Telerik Reporting and currently there is no way to get tooltips in a report item. Currently, there is a similar request in our Ideas & Feedback portal for which you can vote and comment: Tooltip in Crosstab.

Hi Nasko,

The issue with multiple crosstab is in IE 9. When I use chrome, it works fine. I am still not sure what has to be modified in order to work this on IE. But currently good with  Chrome.

Hi Amitava,

If it is an IE specific issue, you may need to contact MS support as well.
