Menu not always closing

I am having a problem where the menu does not always close after an item is selected.  The application I am working on has two frames (not my choice but I have to live with it for now).  The top frame contains a Kendo UI menu and the bottom frame contains the content page.  When you click the menu item it opens the selected page in the bottom.  This works well almost all the time, however sometimes the menu doesn't close after you select an item and it is loaded.  It stays stuck open.  The content page loads fine so I know an item was selected but the menu doesn't disappear.  I haven't been able to identify a pattern yet but it does happen on a relatively frequent (~10%) basis.  I know this isn't a ton to go on but any ideas where to start looking at this issue?

Hi Dave,

Do you use the closeOnClick option which should trigger Menu closure on item click?

I do, but this is my main site navigation menu so any item click takes the user to a new page so it doesn't close until the new page starts to open

the behavior you describe is by design, in order to provide the user with a visual confirmation on what is clicked. In case you need further clarification, please open a support ticket.
