Hello Leon,
We are not imposing any limit of the number of the files selected with the OpenFileDialog, however I see that sometimes there is an internal exception saying that the dialog has failed with no more additional information. I managed to upload around 650 files. Regarding uploading a whole folder, there is no browse folder dialog in Silverlight, so at this point we cannot support this.
