We are using the Telerik RadMap in a MVVM application which uses the Navigation Framework for Silverlight.

On navigating back to a page which has a RadMap contained within it, it appears to think it's panning on load, so on the page showing the map pans and follows the mouse until you click away to stop it.

If we turn off page caching on the Navigation framework then its obviously okay as the map completely reloads.

Is this a known issue?

Hi Shaun Fraser,

Unfortunately we can't reproduce the problem. Could you, please, provide us with a small sample solution which reproduces it?

All the best,

Hi Andrey,

Turns out it was something in our application.  Basically we had a click action on a map item within an information layer which cause a page transition.  It was attached to the mouse down event, so the page transition and SL saves the state.  On returning however, SL for some reason thinks the mouse is still down over the map so when you move the mouse it assumes its panning,

Sorted now though, attached to the mouse up event instead.

Cheers,

Shaun
