I have a question about how Manual Testing in Test Studio works. I did not see much documentation regarding the Manual Testing. In the screenshot below, I did an import of my test cases from a spreadsheet. That is perfectly the way I wanted but once I have that imported, I would like to add different notes to each step of the Manual Test. But I noticed that all the steps in the test share the same note. Is that how Manual Test was designed or am I missing something in the functionality of Test Studio.

Hello Nithin,

The step description of the manual test step is designed to serve as the note for that step. There is currently a feature request in our Public Issue Tracking System (PITS) for additional notes, specifically separate 'expected results' and 'actual results' fields. You can vote for that feature to increase its priority in our development plans. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

Hi I just wanted to check wether this feature was ever added. I see that this request was made in 2012. I am currently running the Trial Version and I can't see it on there.

Hi Faisel,

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately this is a feature request from 2012 which uses our old system and I cannot see which exactly feature request is this.

Here you can find all the information about manual testing. For now you may have one note per step.

I encourage you to create your own Feature Request in your own words in our public feedback portal. Our product manager monitors this and uses it to help decide what we work on next.

Hope that helps.
