I tried to use TeamPulse on a Mac tonight, it was generally a miserable failure. All sorts of events not firing, key presses not getting detected, etc. Only useful for read-only, and even that had issues. My request would be better support for non-Windows clients.

Hi Drew,

I agree that Silverlight on Mac has some quirks and we have some internal users here that are not 100% pleased with it either.  Going forward we are starting to build more and more features using HTML only which will definitely help the Mac users out there.

If you want to read more about what lies ahead for TeamPulse in 2012, please read this blog post:

Nice to hear some words about the Interface  future.

Like you said: "Going forward we are starting to build more and more features using HTML only which will definitely help the Mac users out there."

So this is the starting point for us to declare the Product as dead, and we will beginn to search for a new Product.

Thanks for clarify the way .

Hello all,

The issues observed in the past were mainly due to the use of Silverlight in a Mac environment. According to the latest feedback that we get from our Mac users, most of the issues are addressed and TeamPulse do run on a Mac as far as client side is concerned.

The latest such report was from a TeamPulse client running on OS X 10.7.4 with Silverlight 4.0.60531.0

One of the known issues is the inability to log time from the Silverlight client, but this can be done flawlessly from HTML5 the xView™ module.

In addition, due to the overwhelming demand from customers HTML5 has become our platform of choice moving forward and we have plans to build all of our new components around HTML5 as well as to incrementally port existing functionality to a full HTML5 based user experience.
