I just downloaded and installed the QA version. As soon as I click on Create a New Project it asks me for a project name, when I click on OK it looks like a dialog screen pops up but it is completely white and the application is locked up. I can click on the underneath window and I get a beep. (See screen shot).

Not a very good way to start evaluating a product!

Hi steve,

I am sorry you have run into this problem. It appears to be something wrong with WPF. I've attached a screenshot of what you're supposed to be seeing at that point. Try clicking where the X is supposed to appear in the upper right corner to close the dialog. Hopefully this is just a display problem, not an actual application lock up problem. Please let me know if you have success.

Greetings,

Ok, that worked but now when I am recording a session and try to hover over an object, the highlight box is over to the right and when I click on the blue icon it thinks I am clicking somewhere in the web page.

Is there something like Direct X or WPF  I can reinstall?

Hello steve,

First let's make sure we're not dealing with a simple incorrect offset problem. Highlighting can appear in the wrong location if either the DPI setting isn't set to the the default of the IE zoom level isn't set to 100%. Please check these settings (see attached screenshots).

Sincerely yours,

Ok Guys at Telerik, I just moved to my VS 2010 machine and installed the developer version. I created a test project, added a new test and immediately got the attached error. Also, until you add email failure reporting the product to QA it is useless for any kind of repetitive testing.

This software looks like a late alpha, early beta so far, certainly not a released version!

Hello steve,

This error indicates the account you are logged in as is not a member of the local machines Administrator group. Our tool required Administrator level access to function. You can force Visual Studio to run as administrator by right clicking on it in your start menu and selecting "Run as administrator.
