Hi,

I have the following problem: the RadBusyIndicator localizes its loading message based on the regional settings of the machine. However, I don't want that and as such I set the Language property on the RootVisual to some other language. This seems to work fine for all other rad controls, except the busy indicator, which still localizes itself based on the regional settings, ignoring the Language property (which I also tried setting directly onto it).

Is this a known issue?

Thanks!

Hi Adrian,

Language property is currently not supported by Telerik RadControls. To localize RadControls you will have to use its built in localization. More about it you can read here.

Hello,

We are using in our silverlight application telerik controls version 2013.1.527.1050.
I need to use for the login screen the system localization and than inside the application other localization that is configured for the current user.
I saw in the documentation that in order to change to a different localization we need to reload the control after we change the culture.
But in our case i'm changing the culture before i load my RadGrid and the localization of the RadBusyIndicator isn't changing.
We did all discribed in the above link. but still i can't change the localization dynamically.

Please help - we have upcoming release..

Thanks, Linda.
