It would be good to allow the time zone of the account to be configurable. The majority of our customers are around UTC+10, so activity is recorded against the previous day.

That sounds like a reasonable suggestion and I'll push it into our feature request database. We do register and process according to the UTC time but I can see how that affects the way you see data in UTC+10 were the change from today to tomorrow happens during working hours. Unfortunately I can't give you any timeline on this but I'll try to keep you posted on progress and priority of the issue.
