Hi,

I'm confused about the difference between the RadEditor for MOSS (Installed through the RADEditorMOSS.wsp) and the RadEditor that's included in the RADControls package.

I got the RadEditorMOSS_5_2_2_Trial.zip, installed the solution package and added <%@ Register TagPrefix="telerik" Namespace="Telerik.SharePoint.FieldEditor" Assembly="RadEditorSharePoint, Version=5.2.2.0, culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=1f131a624888eeed" %> to the page template. Then replaced the RichHTMLField controls with <telerik:RadHtmlField id="Content" FieldName="..." runat="server"></telerik:RadHtmlField

However, I seem to get the Lite version of the editor. There is no document manager or flash manager available.

Have I installed the wrong package? Or do I need to do something else to get the full featured RAD editor into our MOSS templates?

Thanks,
Christoffer

Hi Christoffer,

Note that, the RadEditor for MOSS (v.5.x) is based on RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX. In order to set or remove tools from the editor's toolbar, you need to modify the respective ToolsFile.xml - in your case /Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/5.x.x.0__1f131a624888eeed/Resources/ToolsFile.xml. For more information please review the following help article:
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/removing-tools-from-toolbar.html

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
George
