The LinearGaugeIndicator and SegmentedLinearGaugeIndicator  often gets drawn rotated by 90 degrees and scaled on "busier" pages, or when there is more load, i.e. when changing from portrait to landscape mode. This happens both with the b1 as the b2 version of the Q2 controls.
This can be easily reproduced by adding two of the Telerik sample gauges to an empty page with both page orientations supported and/or bind the them to datasources with at least of few dozens items.
Apart from this, the controls are working very well for me.

Best regards,

Manfred

Hi Manfred,

 Thank you for writing.
Please post a support ticket and attach a sample application that demonstrates the issue so that I may debug it and determine the cause. Currently we are aware of a problem related to page orientation and the problem manifests when we apply TranslateTransform objects. During page rotation, the X and Y values of this transformation must be manually reversed so this might be causing the issue.

I will look into this. In the mean time, I am looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes,

I'm also seeing this behavior on the radial gauge.  Any update on this?

Hi Ryan,

 Thank you for the question.
I tested this case with an application that binds an ItemsControl to 500 ints and displays a linear gauge on top of it. The gauge seems to behave as expected in the different page orientations.
Please upgrade to the Q2 2011 Service Pack and let us know how it goes, the gauges should perform adequately in this release.

Please write again if you have other questions.
